Preya Shah first started practicing Yoga as a child with her Grandfather from India. In 2006, after overcoming a personal health challenge, she established her daily personal practice. After 4 years of daily practice, Preya went on a journey of her soul back to India. She lived and studied yoga for 3 years in India, Asia and Europe. Her yoga practice has continued to evolve and develop into more of a meditative practice. Preya first was introduced to Yoga Nidra in 2010 in Rishikesh, India, and trained under Maharaj Anada Swami. She has developed and integrated many other teachings into her current yoga
nidra workshop. Preya’s passion and purpose of spreading the light of yoga allows almost everyone in her workshops to enjoy the deep meditative and healing state of yoga nidra. Preya is also a CranioSacral Therapist; appointments are available upon request.
